脱硫活性炭是一种含硫材料制成的外观呈黑色、无味、无毒，内部孔隙结构发达。比表面积大，吸附能力强的一类微晶质碳素材料，是一种常用的吸附剂。 活性炭按外观形状分为：粉状、颗粒状、不规则颗粒状、圆柱形、球型和纤维状等。
脱硫活性炭指的是在汽油精制过程中，利用活性炭负载磺化钛氰钴，对原油中超标硫醇进行脱除，从而减少汽油含硫量，提高品质。符合国家环保排放的要求。

脱硫活性炭制备方法：
用于粗脱硫的普通活性炭脱硫剂：常以煤为原料,以焦油为胶粘剂挤条成型后经炭化处理,再用水蒸气活化,经筛分后制成。
用于精脱硫的改性活性炭脱硫剂：常选用已成型的活性炭,用活性炭金属盐容液等浸渍后,再经干燥、焙烧和过筛后制得。
脱硫活性炭产品用途：
1、臭气控制；
2、污水处理厂；
3、冶炼、纸浆和造纸厂；
4、酸性气体，如：hcl、so；
5、易挥发的有机化合物。

used for fine desulfurization of modified activated carbon desulfurization agent: often choose established activated carbon, charcoal metal salt fluid after impregnation, after drying, roasting and sieving.
